I spent my morning preparing spaghetti & bread sticks with my mom and the 6 other crazy kitchen ladies for lunch at Hunter's school. I stopped by for a quick hello and ended up staying all the way through the lunch services. My mom and I were laughing at the fact that she went from being a serious nurse in LA to a crazy, spaghetti cookin' kitchen lady here in TN :)

I love my job one day a week with these wonderful ladies. We always have a fun time while preparing and serving these kids at CPA. Will soon be on the job hunt for that nurse job though with hopes of not having to give up my kitchen duties on Fridays.

Everything goes full circle -- your mom's first job was as a "chicken girl" at Kentucky Fried Chicken and now she's the spaghetti queen at CPA! PS: She once told me that when they dropped food on the floor at KFC, they'd just pick it up and throw it in the deep fryer and serve it -- let's hope she doesn't do that at CPA!
Don't worry Auntie, things like that just don't happen in the kitchen at CPA. REALLY! In fact when the department of health inspector was in about a month ago, we scored a "100", and that is NEVER done. The inspector told them it was the cleanest kitchen she had ever seen. And no, there are no roaches to be stomping on either...........
does bread sticks are delicious, they are the best bread i ever taste.!
