The lightening bugs (fireflies) are finally out!!
I wish I could get a photo of them flashing in our backyard (to show you what all the excitement is about) but after spending 10 minutes trying to take the photo right as they flash, this was the best I could get (they're pretty ugly up close)...

amazing.. those things are in my backyard.. i love sitting outside in the dark and just watching them glow
Remember last year when Austen was there with you and she called me to tell me that the flies had lights in their butts?
Last week she left me a message on my cell phone telling me her poop was green.
