July 9 // Opinions? Suggestions??

So last night someone named "Koala" commented on my blog asking if I'm going to continue blogging after my 365 Days are over (which is September 14th by the way).
(btw thanks Koala for bringing this question to my attention)

I realized that date is nearing and it is time I begin thinking about what the future holds for me as a blogger.. ..

I have considered starting a new 365 Days and beginning a "round 2", if you will, describing what life brings in my next year.
But to be honest, I'm not that sure I'm up for it.

I have also considered putting 365 Days to rest and beginning new with a brand new blog, name, address, the whole shebang....but I'm afraid it will be the most boring thing ever.

At this point, I think no matter what, I am going to stop this 365 Days of Photographs and get a new blog address so that there are no more than 365 blog posts here. So that I leave it as a photo album / scrapbook / memory of my 365 days from September 2008 - September 2009.

BUT, I have NO IDEA what to do with the new blog....should I continue with 365 days, and if so, should I add a new "twist" to it...something to spice it up and make it better than round 1...or should I make it a general blog with room to make it whatever I want....or should I start something completely different and fresh?

This is where you, as the blog readers, come in.
Please comment (or inform me another way) letting me know what your suggestion is for my blog future and any new, fresh, ideas you may have for me.
k? easy enough?

THANKS. I really appreciate all of your time reading this ridiculous blog about my really simple and a lot of the time, boring life. It really means a lot. I don't know how you put up with me.

June 8 // Disney Animation.

Matt & I returned to our church's high school group to visit, as well as hear Matt speak to the incoming freshman about what to expect in these coming years.
Matt didn't end up speaking though because the main speaker (the head animator for Disney) had really sweet "first sketch" videos of our favorite Disney movies like Lion King and Beauty and the Beast to show. The process of getting the movies to theater quality is incredible!

June 7 // Pool Time.

I've decided it's time I try and get a tan.
Or really, a sunburn in my case.

June 6 // The Back-up Plan.

I recently started babysitting for 6-month-old triplet girls. I more recently found out that they are little baby actresses. They've done a few commercials and soap opera episodes, until now, something a little bit bigger.

Jennifer Lopez is staring in a new romantic comedy called The Back-up Plan & the triplets got cast to play her twins. I was obviously excited when I heard the news, but when they asked me to help with the girls during their day of filming, I got even more excited!
We spent the day in Hollywood filming a couple scenes with the leading actor (I'm not sure who he was--a face you recognize but not sure from what). I didn't get to see Jennifer because she wasn't in the scenes being filmed, but I did see her real life twins as I was walking to my car. They were in a golf cart with who I guess was the nanny, on their way to Jennifer's HUGGGE, 2 story trailer.

It was a pretty cool experience, since I've never been on the set of a movie before, but I'm sure when I see the movie, I'll fall in love with the lead actor and kick myself for not paying more attention to him when I had the chance...

July 5 // Swap Meeting.

We hit up the swap meet this morning.
Unfortunately didn't find any treasures.
But we did have every single possibility of scissor to choose from.

July 4 // Stealing Fireworks.

(if you're maximizing this pic and wondering why it looks like it was raining; we were driving through a drive thru car wash)

It's the Fourth of July.
And per tradition, a fireworks show is a must.
Logan, Matt & I decided we would try our hand at the Lacy Park show this year.
When we got there and saw the massive amount of people with the same idea,
we decided it would be a better idea to steal a peak at the show from across the street in the grassy middle of the center divider.
It turned out to be a great idea.

July 3 // An In N Out Welcome.

A midnight In N Out visit after I picked Logan up from the airport tonight.

She has been in Phoenix at a volleyball tournament all week & was very happy to get off the plane and step into our cool, California weather after spending a week in the hot, Arizona humidity.

July 2 // Dean's List Celebrations.

Kate got on the Dean's List!!!
Mama B took us out for celebratory bacon chocolate souffle (sounds weird, we were skeptical too, but it was DELICIOUS) !!

July 1 // Adventures with Katie.

Adventures started early this morning when my friend Katie helped me trek the dresser 40 miles to my apartment.
Now, I just have to figure out what color to paint it & the blue bookshelf...
Ideas anyone???
The apartment is too monotone with the couches, carpet & walls all being shades of brown....

June 30 // More Moving.

We moved the last of Matt's stuff out of his room today.
He moved into his brother's old room & got a new dresser so I got his old one (pictured) for my apartment!

Today is Hunter's birthday & he's in Honduras doing amazing things.
HAPPY BDAY LITTLE BROTHER!

June 29 // Personal Assisting.

Since my regular job is only between the months of September and May, I'm taking all the babysitting, house sitting and anything else I can find right now. So, today when I got a call from a neighbor asking me to come re-organize their filing system I jumped at the job opportunity. Then when they asked me to drive them to the airport, Mama B and I decided this job has become one of personal assisting...which sounds great to me since I grew up exposed to an overly organized mother & father.

June 28 // Wall Signings.

Pasadena Christian School is in the process of building a new Junior High quad & today was the wall signing before they close up the walls & finish the buildings for the start of the new school year.
It's definitely going to look a little different when they're finished with construction.

The office and old junior high building on the left.
Library on the right.
Future parking lot in front.

June 27 // Vroom Vroom.

Matt is driving!
Well, technically he's parked.

June 26 // Warped '09 without me

Warped Tour '09 began in Pomona today!
I had work obligations all day
so I sent Matt & his friends with my camera
to capture the day for me.
Too bad there were 58390105 people there
keeping Matt from getting pics of my favorite, Aaron Gillespie of Underoath.
(He's in the bottom picture somewhere on the drums in the back of the stage hah)

June 25 // Max.

This cute little guy is Max.
We go to the park, play in his kid pool & dance to his favorite Baby Einstein cd's a couple times a week.

June 24 // Back to Civilization.

It was a fun 2 1/2 days with the grandparents, but since I was feelin better, it was time to return home & get ready to start a new nanny job tomorrow.
Our friend Kacie stopped by to hang out tonight which was super fun since I haven't seen her since Christmas.

P.S. TODAY is my Momma's birthday! HAPPY BDAY LADY!

June 23 // Gun Fever.

This is the 22 pistol that Papa let me shoot today.
It wasn't one of his rifles that had sparked my interest in the first place, but considering I'd never shot a gun before, it was probably good I start with this one.

June 22 // Adventures in Lancaster with Grandma Grandma.

When I woke up this morning with a sore throat, I knew that a visit to my (idiot) doctor (but I won't get into that) was going to result in having either strep or tonsillitis. This was really disturbing considering I had strep 4 weeks ago....

Sure enough, tonsillitis it is.....

I decided leaving the BBacher premises was a wise idea since I got 3 out of the 4 of them sick last time. My cousins are going out of town this weekend and didn't want me infecting them either, so off to Nana & Papa's it was....

I spent the day recouping in Papa's chair watching Little House on the Prairie (which brought me back to my younger days), Golden Girls (which brought me up to my later years) and MASH (which is actually kind of hilarious) with my Great Grandma, or otherwise known to me as "Grandma Grandma".

Grandma Grandma is 98-years-old and has dementia, so she has no idea who I am, or really, where she is usually, but she's a sweet old lady who always goes with the flow none the less. It was a pretty silly afternoon watching old tv shows with her while she crocheted baby blankets for the church nursery & continually wanted to know who I was (and then responding with "oh, the last time I saw you, you were a little girl" when really, it was yesterday).

June 21 // Happy [Grand]Father's Day.

(Papa with his oldest & youngest granddaughters)

Since I am no longer on the same side of the country as my dad, I left him a card before I departed, and spent Father's Day with my Papa at the cousin's house. We had a fun BBQ with my uncle's side of the family, being thoroughly entertained by Landon who refused to eat cow for dinner (he kept calling the steaks chicken, so I stupidly corrected him).

Don't worry Daddy, you were missed !!

June 20 // Alphabet Therapy for Angelman Syndrome.

Back home and back to reality rather quickly as I headed to Lake Ave today for the Alphabet Therapy workshop that the team & I have been planning for the last few months.

The Alphabet Therapy Project is a part of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Research on Human Development. It uses a method based on ABA to teach children with Angelman syndrome the alphabet, colors, numbers, shapes and other school skills. Our mission is to help Angelman children learn as much as they can, and demonstrate what they have learned.

June 19 // Homeward Bound.

I left for CA at the end of the day and Nashy
said goodbye to me with a nice, big southern rainstorm.

Mom had to work, but Dad & Hunter drove me to the airport
where we said our goodbyes until Christmas.
:(

June 18 // Crash.

Mom & Dad celebrated my last full day in Nashville by working.
Tonight we watched Crash & I have nothing more exciting to write about because I lived in front of the tube all day....
Hunter & I watched reruns of Friends, Will & Grace, Dharma & Greg, Hawthorne (great new show), SNL, & Alias.
It was a really eventful day.

June 17 // TICK

Hunter got a tick today.
EEEEEEEEEEK...

June 16 // Photos & More Photos.

Hunter took his senior portraits today (too weird).

Customer cameras weren't allowed in the studio so I had to sneak a few phone pics to document the momentous occasion.

When we got home, my mom wanted to get our Christmas card picture taken so we spent the afternoon AND evening taking the photos, then picking out/designing the card and ordering it...in June.

(this isn't the photo-just similar to it)

June 15 // Nashy's First UO.

Nashville has officially gotten its first Urban Outfitters.

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting it today.
